alca mobil logistics + services gmbh is active worldwide and in its home region, supporting associations and social projects. In its home town of Storkow, it provides financial support to various associations, such as the Storkow Singing Society, free library use for all children in the region, and participation in the big parade at the Storkow town festival at Whitsun with the four-metre-long windscreen wiper, the largest in the world. We are very aware of our social responsibility as a company and give young people from the region the opportunity to start their working lives through internships or vocational training.
Other activities of alca mobil logistics + services gmbh focus on providing financial support to the youngest members of our society. We do this through sponsorship and donations, such as to the youth team of the Storkow Sports Club SSC or the donation of child seats for the volunteer fire brigade or for children's and youth trips.
Wildlife Kyrgyzstan e.V.
The Wildlife Kyrgyzstan association promotes and supports projects for the sustainable conservation of biological diversity. In addition, it accompanies and promotes measures for the development, renaturation, protection and maintenance of ecologically valuable habitats.
Tom Heyner, managing director of alca mobil logistics + services gmbh, founded the Wildlife Kyrgyzstan e.V. association together with Thorsten Harder in 2018 with the aim of protecting the flora and fauna in Kyrgyzstan. alca mobil logistics + services gmbh has been active in Eastern Europe – including Kyrgyzstan – for over two decades and is one of the leading German exporters of car accessories there. Through its many years of cooperation with customers, the company has close ties to the country:
Wildlife Kirgistan e.V. aims to make a substantial contribution to the preservation of the flora and fauna and the characteristic landscape in Kyrgyzstan. The association's goal is to protect, preserve and develop biological diversity in the Central Asian country.
The association's work focuses on collecting donations. To this end, it raises awareness of issues such as the endangered snow leopard among a broad international public.
Thinking sustainably is our duty
As a family business, we feel a special obligation to people – today and in the future. That is why environmental awareness also plays a major role in our daily work.
We do our part to conserve natural resources and minimise environmental impact. A wide range of energy efficiency measures are implemented in the organisation of our production and logistics processes. When shipping goods from our online shop, we pay attention to sustainable packaging, minimising packaging waste and recycling cardboard boxes. In the manufacture of our products, we ensure that there is as little additional packaging as possible and will dispense with plastic packaging as far as possible in the coming years. Many of our products are already manufactured in packaging suitable for shippingWe are currently working on expanding our photovoltaic system and energy-saving LED lighting technology. We ensure that the majority of our production and packaging materials are recyclable; all transport boxes are reused by us.
